Adaptogens are used in herbal medicine obtained from medicinal plant materials which are the basics of traditional medicine. Those taking high concentrations of 300 mg ashwagandha full spectrum extract capsules twice per day for 60 days showed a significant reduction in stress assessment scores. The findings of the study suggest high concentrations of full spectrum ashwagandha root safely and effectively improve an individual's resistance towards stress and anxiety thereby improving self assessment quality of life says PubMed.
Rhodiola is an adaptogen best known for its ability to enhance physical energy, increase alertness and memory while reducing overall fatigue. According to recent findings, Rhodiola may be effective for improving symptoms of stress, depression or depression when taken in doses of 400-600 mg when taken in single or divided doses.
