Influencers Compare Diets

Compare diets lose weight, look and feel great enjoying foods you want to eat perfectly suited to your preferences.  Over 650 million adults suffer from obesity as the prevalence of this condition has increased rapidly over the past 50 years.  Obesity has become one of the most problematic health problems across the globe often leading to type 2 diabetes, mellitus, stroke, cardiovascular disease, osteoarthritis, depression, sleep apnea, some types of cancers.  Optimal diets solutions dedicated for weight management has been a topic of debate among researches, health care professionals, the general public and nutrition experts.  Numerous diet plans are available for consumers who want to control their weight searching for solutions focusing on healthy eating habits while being mindful of limiting sweets, salt and unhealthy fat options.  Diet fads are seen as a short lived eating plan promising rapid weight loss quick fixes to health problems lacking scientific research usually restricting caloric intake while eliminating specific foods often resulting in temporary results.

Selecting a good diet plan should not feel like decoding a secret manual in balanced nutrition.  A good dieting approach focuses on eating whole food options for sustainable living you can follow for months or even years empowering your lifestyle while achieving your goals.  The meal plan blueprint focuses on nutrient dense foods packed with vitamins, minerals, proteins, healthy fats developing balanced dieting patterns supporting healthy lifestyle habits that can last a lifetime.  “ Obesity has become one of the most public health problems worldwide which suggests the need for evidence based dietary strategies for weight loss and its maintenance.  Weight management depends on complex factors such as the amount of food eaten, type of food eaten, and timing of meals.” PubMed The Mediterranean diet plan was the first proposed concept in 1975 by American biologist Ancel Keys and chemist Margaret Keys which was inspired by eating habits of traditional foods from Grease Italy and the Mediterranean costs of Spain and France which was observed in the late 1950’s and 1960’s.

The diet distinctly encompasses diverse culinary traditions of the Mediterranean countries across Portugal, and the Atlantic diet of northwest Spain sharing dietary characteristics of those regions. The Mediterranean diet has been refined based on results for scientific studies.  It focuses on eating plant based foods, vegetables, fruits, legumes, unprocessed cereals, moderate consumption of fish, and dietary products, like yogurt, cheese, and low amounts of red meat, refined grains and sugar.  Alcohol intake is limited to wine, typically the red wine variety, consumed in low moderate amounts accompanied with meals.  Olive oil is the principal source of healthy fats which has been studied for a potential health factor in the reduction of mortality and the risk of chronic diseases.  The Mediterranean Diet is one of three healthy diets recommended in the 2015-2020 Dietary Guidelines For Americans along with the vegetarian diet and the Dash Diet plan.  It is also recognized by the World Health Organization as a healthy eating pattern.

Paleo diet is a dietary regime based on foods humans probably would have consumed during the Paleolithic Period approximately 2.6 million to 10,000 years ago. The Paleo diet primarily focuses on meats including fish, poultry, wild game, fruits, vegetables, seeds, eggs, and edible nuts.  The diet excludes grains, legumes and starches, dairy products, refined sugars and most starches which are all processed in order to be edible food sources which became part of the human diet only after the emergence of farming cultivation of crops about 10.000 years ago.  The concept behind the paleo diet was explored in a paper published in 1985 in The New England Journal Of Medicine written by American researchers Melvin Konner and S, Boyd Eaten.  The paper discussed nutrient influences relevant to the Paleolithic humans and the implications of Paleolithic nutrition with regard to modern human health.  Subsequent research on ancestral human diets carried out by American scientist Loren Cordian led to his publication of

The Paleo Diet in 2002 a book that formalized a trademarked eating plan of the same name.

The diet is similar to the Ketogenic diet except Paleo bans soy and dairy products and allows for a greater variety of vegetables in the diet.  The theory behind the Paleo diet is that human physiology has changed very little over time.  Advocates of the Paleo diet believe the health of modern day humans suffered with the introduction of processed foods, particularly corn, wheat and sugar which the human body presumably is not physiologically able to utilize.  The consumption of such foods is viewed by supporters of the Paleo Diet as a key factor contributing to the obesity epidemic, poor health, diabetes mellitus, allergies, chronic diseases and heart disease.  Obesity has become the most prevalent health problem worldwide which suggests the need for dietary strategies used to lose weight fast and its maintenance following a sensible balanced diet program.

Weight management depends on complex factors according to the amount of food eaten, the type of food eaten and timing of meals.  Weight loss apps provide a comprehensive solution for dieting and fitness suited for your specific needs helping you lose weight while developing new lifestyle strategies that may last a lifetime.  My Fitness App Diet plan combines a sensible diet with a fitness program encouraging healthy lifestyle choices as the best method for weight loss.  My Fitness diet plan is tailored to suit specific dietary needs personalizing it to make healthy eating easy choosing from one of several programs.  Each plan offers delicious recipes created to maximize your nutritional uptake eating fresh foods packed with nutrition.
