According to research, America's top goal for 2020 is getting finances in order and often face obstacles due to economic reasons. People face other obstacles attempting to accomplish goals as 48 percent of Americans lack motivation and 45 percent of adults conduct inadequate research. Fortunately, the internet offers valuable resources for anyone who wants to prioritize goals using simple techniques achieving your targeted objective.

The Occupational Handbook is a publication of the United States Department of Labor Statistics is an inaugural source of career guidance information featuring hundreds of occupations. It includes detailed information on the fastest-growing occupations including training, earnings and projected outlook for hundreds of occupations in the US may be a good starting point for adults who are exploring a change in education and occupation in 2020.

Write A Bucket List
Create a bucket list live your best life determining a new starting point of action including short term goals, something you want in the near future.  Small achievable goals are often specifically relevant easily obtained focussing on the tangible outcome using a time frame to realize completion like losing weight and changing lifestyle habits.  

Start Losing Weight
Millions of Americans want to lose weight and often lack a structured plan leading in the right direction. Among millennials, 80 percent of adults report they could be healthier and admit their diets could be healthier. The prevalence of obesity has risen gradually over the past few decades in the United States resulting from a combination of causes including poor habits in dietary and fitness choices. 

Establishing new habits in behaviors is a good starting point including following a healthy diet plan and increasing physical activity is important for managing weight while improving health. Maintaining a healthy diet combined with regular physical fitness activity is essential for the prevention of chronic diseases heart disease, Type 2 diabetes from developing.  Dietary Guidelines for Americans emphasize consuming whole grains, vegetables, fruits, lean protein foods low in fat high in nutritional value. 

According to the DRI Dietary Reference, Intake protein intake for adults recommends consuming 0.8 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight or 0.36 grams per pound.  This amounts to 46 grams of protein for the average woman and 56 grams of protein each day for the average male. Lean protein recommendations should be equally divided throughout the day eating 5-6 small meals may boost metabolism helping the body lose body fat while building lean muscle.

Your body uses protein to build and repair tissues in the body to make hormones, enzymes.  Following a balanced dietary plan is a good starting point for developing healthy lifestyle habits that can affect every area of your life.
